JA: Is the key stripped or worn?
Customer: it is a 96 avolon the boy was driving got out to run in store and then he could not get ignition to turn i do know if he forced it
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i watched a video on you tube and they said there is aanti theft application that when presure or pulling on wheel would make it lock is that true
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: i guess they would like to replace ignition. but i would like to get it to work one more time to get it back

Hello and welcome to just answer and allowing me to assist you. well in this situation usually the tumblers inside the key cylinder are either jammed or damaged. So the only thing you can try is to flush it out with penetrating fluid and also blowing some compress air in it when you do though wear protective eye covering and something under the steering area to catch the oil you spray into the key hole. you can get a can of compressed air in any computer store to try. If all fails your into just replacing the key cylinder not the whole ignition. Hope this helps your problem and if you need further assistance I'll be happy to do so.
