Customer Question

Replaced my headlamp bulb and now the car won't start. Put in old bulb same thing. Warning sound when turn on lights (although lights come on)
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: 2008 Toyota Prius driver side headlighy Headlight
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am hoping to fix it. I have only undone and redone the event to include reinstalling the old bulb
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Not at this time

Hi. Have you tried jump starting the 12 volt battery?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Eric,It turns out the key needed to be reinserted into the car - it wasn't working as a remote fob. Once I pushed the "key" button under the steering column all was normal. Not sure what tripped it in the first place but the gremlins seem to have left. Thanks.

Ok. Glad you got it working. The battery inside the FOB may be dead. Thanks and please rate my assistance and have a great day.
