Customer Question

I have a 2014 Tacoma with factory tow package. A boat trailer wire short blew two 30-amp fuses under the hood. I repaired the trailer and replaced the fuses in the truck but the trailer lights don't work (but they work on another truck) Could it be the taillight converter in the truck was also damaged? Where is it located?

There may be a hidden fuse that is blown. It is an in line fuse, look near the fuse box for any wires that look like they have a rubber boot protecting a fuse.

Look in the rear near the trailer connector as well.
