2005 highlander - A/C button doesn't light and turn on A/C.

Customer Question

2005 highlander - A/C button doesn't light and turn on A/C. Fan works. Drove to store with it working, when to come home it wouldn't work.
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: The green light on the a/c control button
JA: Are you fixing your Highlander yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Plan to. Is it the fuse
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No. Is it a 10A fuse in the interior fuse block?

hello and thank you for allowing me to help you. does the A/C ork if you activate the S/W if it does then it's just the illumination bulb inside the switch itself. If the A/C does not work when activating the S/W then I would say your on the money and is a 10 or 15 amp fuse if you have the owners Manuel it will show it's location. I believe it's behind the passenger kick panel under the dash area. have to pull up the door bottom scuff plate then remove the little kick panel and you should see it there.
