Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If there is no response when the key fob buttons are pressed it could be a receiver issue on the car but it's more likely to be a bad key fob. If the fob battery has been replaced and it didn't help then the next step will be to test the fob to see if it's transmitting. Most big chain parts stores such as Autozone will test fobs for free. If it isn't transmitting then it will need to be replaced.
