I have a 2002 Odyssey. It is completely dead and won't jump

Customer Question

Hi - I have a 2002 Odyssey. It is completely dead and won't jump start. The battery is only a few months old. I know very little about cars but read that it could be the 120a battery fuse. I see the fuse under the hood but not sure how to remove and/or determine if it's blown. Can you help?
JA: Do all the fuses have the correct amperage for the circuits they're in?
Customer: Yes
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Only tried jumping it. And then started looking at fuses but that's all
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: It has gotten very little use in the past year. Mostly had been sitting in garage

Do you have a voltmeter or a 12 volt test light?

If that 120A fuse is blown it should be obvious bu to be sure it's best to check voltage directly at the fuse.

when turning the key on do any lights on the dash turn on?

Is this a Honda Odyssey?

I don't have those things but can go get either or both if you recommend. When I turn the key nothing at all happens - no lights or anything else. Yes it is an Odyssey - 2002

Ok, it seems it lost all power from the battery, just get a simple 12 volt test light it should do for now, you can get them at any hardware store or Lowe's and Home depot as well.
