Thank you for trusting us with your questions. So, if I understand correctly, your battery voltage is getting low while the vehicle sits? What is the voltage of the battery in the AM after sitting all night?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
weak enough I can't start the car
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i heard there is a relay under the hood that controls these two things

We need to establish where the draw is coming from. Do you have a good digital voltmeter capable of measuring amperage?

Expert:  Boxer54 replied 1 year ago.

Is the battery brand new? Have you had it tested?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had the battery and alternator both tested and are fine.
Expert:  Boxer54 replied 1 year ago.

Do you have test equipment?

Expert:  Boxer54 replied 1 year ago.

I"s it a brand new battery?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
not here with me at this time
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
battery is 2 years old but test good
Expert:  Boxer54 replied 1 year ago.

First thing we have to do is measure the parasitic draw on the battery. We will need a meter to test it. Without that, I'm not sure how I can help you.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
do you know where the relay is I was asking about?
Expert:  Boxer54 replied 1 year ago.

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. The process to diagnose this issue is to measure the draw.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
thank you
Expert:  Boxer54 replied 1 year ago.

me know when you get the meter in hand, and I will be happy to walk you through the testing process.
