Thanks for posting
Anytime there is a vibration like this the motor mounts are first to suspect, how many of the mounts were replaced?
The most common mounts to cause a problem are the mount in the front of the car near the radiator and the dog bone link at the front of the engine.
How long have you owned the car and when did you start noticing this? Was the car in an accident to your knowledge, even a minor one?
Thanks for the reply, the mechanic should check to see if any part of the exhaust system is making contact with th body underneath, a missing exhaust hanger, insulator or bent pipe can transfer vibration from the exhaust in to the inside. If there is no vibration in gear and the a/c off then it could be related to the a/c compressor or one of the idler pulleys for the drive belt. A worn belt tensioner pulley can also cause this so it should be checked for that as well.
I understand, what year is the camry and which engine does it have?
Ok, it should have one serpentine belt do drive the accessories, there is an automatic belt tensioner that id it is worn and to loose will cause a vibration, this may be more noticeable with the extra load that the a/c compressor puts on the belt.
I need to know if it has a V6 or 4 cylinder engine.
Yes, that will be fine.
