Customer Question

If I opened my Prius hatchback is it possible if I laid my smartkey down inside it could have locked back inside?

They smart key system is kinda tricky sometimes on how it works, and this is one of those times.
You can not lock the SmartKey in the car with the buttons on the OUTSIDE of the doors. You CAN lock it in by using the lock button on the INSIDE of the door, then closing the door.

I know thats a little confusing, but please feel free to ask any other questions you have!

Thank you!
