i have a 2000 toyota tacom trd 5 speed manual with 3.4 L v6
pulling a 3000 lb camper and looking for ideas to get some increased power/torque when climbing hills on highway.
are there chips available to help this problem? do they work? any negatives to doing this?

some of the performance chips do work such as this one

if you were to fit a more free flowing exhaust with less silencing then this too will release power such as

a combination of these two will typically release about 10% more power

avoid the ebay specials as these chips tend to be fakes at best and can damage the engine at worst
