Customer Question

2004 highlander, V6, 221000 miles. Running rough at times. Took it to a repair shop. No trouble codes. Ran fine for them. They could not find anything wrong. 2 days later starting to run rough again. This comes and goes so its hard to figure out. Wondering if this could be a coil staring to go.

Hello, thanks for posting

It could be a coil or something else as well, hard to say without having any information like trouble codes to go by, Does it only run rough at idle or while accelerating?

Does it do this while at a steady highway speed, under what condition would you say it is the most noticeable?
