Customer Question

2004 Rav4. Power locks issue. Key Fab, switches and from key on outside, no door will power lock ONLY. Unlock just fine. All doors unlock just fine. Master lock switch? Break in power to Master Switch?
JA: How many miles are on the car? Has this ever happened before?
Customer: customer car. Higher miles. under 200K. Slowly stopped working all together
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Tried nothing. Researching first. Common problem?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Nothing has been added or altered to factory wiring. That's it
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Toyota Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello, if the locks work normally with the key remote as well as the key in the door then the problem is in the master switch on the left side armrest. There is a body ecu control unit that all loco/unlock commands go through so if everything works except the switch inside then the problem is there.
