ABS and Brake warning light on. Relays and fuses are good.

Customer Question

ABS and Brake warning light on. Relays and fuses are good. Brakes work great. Speed sensors are good. This vehicle does not have VSC and it is two wheel drive. What other possible cause could it be?
JA: How many miles are on the car? Has the car been starting normally?
Customer: Just under 100,000 miles and it starts and runs normally.
JA: What is the model/year of your Toyota?
Customer: 2003 Toyota Highlander 4cylinder, two wheel drive
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Trying to fix myself. Went through a diagnostic tree and tested all components. there was no clear problem but it seemed to point to the skid control ECU. So we did replace it and there was no change. The ABS pump motor is good. Relays etc.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Is there a controller on the ABS pump itself or does that come as a complete unit? The car has not been in any wrecks to my knowledge all wiring looks good with no corrosion. We are just trying not to throw parts at it.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Toyota Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

do you have any specific code number information for the abs at this time?

The code is for one of the solenoids in the abs pump, I know you replaced the ecu but I think you'll need to replace the part that hall the brake lines going into it.
