Hello, if you touch the AC lines going into the firewall with the AC on is one cold and the other hot?

I apologize for the delay, there were some webiste issues and I didn't see your response.

Both being hot means the expansion valve is not working properly. To replace it the HVAC box must come out which is about a 2.5 hour job not counting time to recover and recharge the system. I'll post the info on it below.
