Recently my 2007 Camry XLE had the check engine light come

Customer Question

Recently my 2007 Camry XLE had the check engine light come on. I had some repairs done to the emissions system and it went off but it now has the VSC/Trac off lights on. What's wrong now?
JA: Do you happen to know the code? Have you tried to reset the computer?
Customer: The repair done was some kind of evaporative thing on top of the gas tank. I don't have the code on the latest problem.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: If possible. The evaporative thing cost a fortune. By the way, it's a 2002 Camry. I have a fair amount of (older) automotive experience.
JA: Is there anything else the Toyota Mechanic should be aware of about your Toyota?
Customer: Not that I know of. The tailpipe is nice and clean and it runs great.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Toyota Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
