when i step on gas car is slow to accelerate especially when its first started.started after i filled up with gas one day so i thought it might be the gas and,put in additive thats supposed to take out a little better after that but now its worse

Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you. If you have water in the fuel, the product you added does not remove the water. The product mixes with the water (is is a form of alcohol) and the water-alcohol mixture is then burned during the combustion process. The alcohol addition allows the engine to remove the water as it runs. The recommendation I would have for you on this request would be to fill it up at a different gas station and add another can of the product that you are using (some form of "dry-gas"). Once the vehicle has gone thru 2 tanks of gas you should be ok.

Note that the water-alcohol mix will result in some acceleration issues. This would be normal.
