Camry: When running my 2003 Camry at highway speed my front

Customer Question

When running my 2003 Camry at highway speed my front end has a humming sound that seems too loud. I have put the transmission in neutral so the engine is idling when travelling 60 mph, but the humming noise up front persists. What is or could be the problem?

Hello I will help you with your question, Two things, try putting the front tires on the back and bring the backs up front and see if the humming changes when you gently sway side to side. If the noise changes moving the tires then that is the issue or if you sway and it changes you have a failing wheel bearing. Please let me know what questions you have about this Thank you
