Tundra: My Tundra 2008 wont shift up - or stay up. On highway

Customer Question

My Tundra 2008 wont shift up - or stay up. On highway engine RPMs spool up but truck wont go faster than 50....
Had the same problem last week, but trusted mechanic couldn't replicate the problem. Hooked it up to diagnostics and NO sign of tranny issues. and it seemed fine when I picked it up. ran normally for a week - now same thing: all dash lights flashing on engine start and thereafter. Engine starts and sounds normal...Truck just wont shift up past 3-4the gear and only after playing around with manual shifting options....
