I have a 1996 Toyota Celica GT convertible. The left rear

Customer Question

I have a 1996 Toyota Celica GT convertible. The left rear power window is down and won't come back up. I have checked the fuse and made sure the child window lock is off. I am afraid it is the electric motor but no one I have talked to is willing to take on the challenge. If I could just get the window up, I would leave it up.

good morning my name is ***** ***** I will assist

most likely you are the correct. the motor is the issue.

in order to get it up, you need to remove the door panel and get inside the panel and remove the 2 attaching bolts to the regulator. that will release the window and you can move it up to the closed position. then you need to brace it so it stays up. using a piece of wood or something strong that will keep it stable.
