Boxer54 Hoping you can help me on this. I have a 2001 Toyota

Customer Question

Hello Boxer54
Hoping you can help me on this.
I have a 2001 Toyota Echo. 1.3 manual hatch.
Recently teplaced the battery. Accidents attached the positive cable to the negative terminal on the battery ( long story ) sparked quite a lot.
Connect battery properly. Cat starts and runs perfectly.
However no electrics. No wipers, blinkers, brake lights, radio and no digital dash lights.
I have checked fuse box next to steering column and fuse box located close to battery. All fuses are fine.
Any ideas on what else could cause the electrics fail ?
Are there others fuses somewhere I have not located ?

Hi Jason,

You have blown a B+ fuse that feeds the alternator and all the ancillary electrics.

Should be near the Battery positive terminal assembly.
