I have several issues. The first is my 2008 tundra won't start. Happened the same time My breaks were going bad. I'd there a safety issue that makes it not start?

Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you. There is no "safety device" that prohibits the engine from starting if a brake line is blown out, or an axle seal is leaking. The engine electrical system does not 'look' at those items as inputs for starting.
