02 Toyota camery 3.0 v6 how to reprogram throttlebody after disconnecting battery

Hello, thanks for posting

It is a common symptom that the idle speed is too low, engine stalls or possibly the idle speed is too high after cleaning the throttle body, this is because the computer compensated for the carbon deposits between the throttle plate and the inside of the throttle body to keep the idle withing specified range. After cleaning the carbon out the computer still keeps the last setting until it re learns the driving pattern, there is really nothing to reprogram.

Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait about a minute, reconnect it, drive the vehicle in normal driving including stop and go and highway speeds for about 15 minutes, by that time the computer should have relearned it's default values and the idle will return to normal.
