Last night when I turned off my 2010 corolla the engine

Customer Question

Last night when I turned off my 2010 corolla the engine immobilizer light started flashing. Never happened before. I even tried my 2nd chip key it still kept flashing. What needs to be done?

Just to clarify if you insert either ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder the immobilizer security light goes out and does not flash at all correct? If you then remove either ignition key get out and close the door does the security light flash slow and steady?
