How did you arrive at the conclusion it was low on refrigerant and thus needed to add refrigerant to it?
What were the high and low side pressures before and after adding a can of refrigerant?
You do understand that adding too much refrigerant can blow the seals of the compressor, correct? Thus if you added some on a hunch, you could have catastrophically damaged your compressor.
