Customer Question

I have a battery drain of 2.5 volts. It stops when I remove the 15v fuse under the hood for the radio. I'm needing to know why (or if) the radio is really causing the battery drain. vickie

Thanks for posting

Does your meter have the ability to check current draw, voltage measured across doesn't really mean anything, the current in amps is what's important. set the meter at it's highest setting of 10 amps, connect it in series with the negative battery post and the cable, make sure the key is off and all lights are off and the doors closed.

Let me know the amperage reading on the meter,
