Is there a reason for there being a long delay in the changing of gears in an auto gear box of a 1998 seca? The change from 1st to 2nd is good, but the change from 2nd to 3rd has a long delay. depending on the air temperature, it takes up to 6 to 7ks to change?

Once the engine has warmed up, every thing is good. It always has this problem 1st thing in the morning.
