Have 91 Toyota corolla. Have replaced starter & ignition key tumbler. Battery & alternator good. Car still will not start all the time. Turn key on & no noise. Tried starting in neutral, still nothing.

Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you. If you have a 12 volt DC testlight, we need to check a few things. The first thing we need to check is for power in the smallest wire on the starter. It will probably be solid black. Please remove it and check to see if it has power in it with the key in the Start position. Advise if it has power or not, and we will proceed from there.
