Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you. It would not be uncommon for a car with 83,000 miles to need struts. Usually, they need to be replaced at arounf 100,000 miles, but, we have replaced them much sooner than 100,000. Is there a problem with the vehicle with regard to the struts? Or has somebody told you you just need them. Please advise
