I have an 03 toyota mr2 spyder and I have changed

Customer Question

Hey there. I have an 03 toyota mr2 spyder and I have changed all but bank 2 sensor one (downstream) and keep getting the check engine light. What else could be the cause of check engine light reading a false error for the bank 1 sensor 2

If I am reading this right, you replaced both the O2 sensors before the catalytic converter and are still getting a code for bank1 sensor2, correct?

If so, the problem is you have replaced the wrong O2 sensors. Bank1 Sensor2 is the downstream O2 sensor after converter, Bank1 Sensor1 and Bank2 Sensor1 are before the converter
