My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.
You can try and operate it to close it as you normally would and have someone try and wiggle the sun roof to see if it releases and moves then properly to close. If this does not work let me know.
Thanks Pete

Sorry, we tried that and because of delayed response took it to dealer who got it closed but no longer operates.

O.k.,once again I do apologize for the delay and posted as soon as I saw your question myself.
Since it no longer operates and the dealer had to close it I suspect you may have a sun roof motor fault needing replaced. This is one of the more common components to fail and cause this here.
Thanks Pete
