Hi I have a 2004 toyota, camry v6 3.0
I am getting a PO500 code. Vehicle Speed Sensor. I already have the part and am curious to find where on the car to replace. Behind center instrument Panel/ Dash?

Thanks for postingThere are actually two speed sensors, one in the transmission and one in the speedometer assembly, the transmission speed sensor sends a signal to the speedometer which then sends the vehicle speed information to the computer. I most cases the transmission sensor is the problem, it's located on top of the transmission and has a two wire connector on I, a 12 mm size bolt fastens it to the case, you may have to move the intake tube or some hoses out of the way to get to it.
