Toyota highlander: We have a 2011 Toyota Highlander limited

Customer Question

We have a 2011 Toyota Highlander limited and has not been driven in 1 week. The car cannot be unlocked; not with the remotes or the small key inside the remote. (We do not have the valet key with us). The security red light is not blinking on the dashboard. There is no way to gain entry into the car.
On both car remotes, there is a red blinking light when you click any of the operations ( lock, unlock, hatch)
It seems the whole car is disabled. Any suggestions?

So just to clarify, when you use the small metal key it will go in but not turn to the unlock position?

Yes, turned the small key a quarter turn to the right. It did nothing.
