Customer Question

My toyota sienna (2006) has gone over 120000 miles and it's time to replace the spark plugs. How do you do it, and do I need to replace the spark plug wires too?

Hello...welcome and thank you for using justanswer.
What engine size do you have ?
Do you have the three spark plug wires in the rear spark plugs ?
If you do , yes ,you should also replace the wires.
To replace the rear spark plugs ,you will need to remove the throttle body to get a little more room to turn the ratchet for the two spark plugs on driver side ,the one in the passenger side is not hard to replace .When working under the intake ,you can get your left hand under the intake from passenger side and the right hand from driver side.
You will also need a few extensions sizes to work under the intake .
The front ones (radiator side ) are easy to replace ,just remove the ignition coils .
Good luck.
Let me know.
Thank you.
