Toyota Corolla: How much does it cost to replace the timing

This answer was rated:

How much does it cost to replace the timing belt in a 2007 Corolla?

The 2007 Toyota Corolla 1.8L engine does not have a timing "belt". It has a timing "chain". There is no recommended service interval at which to replace this chain. The timing chain was designed to last the life of the vehicle, without ever needing replacement. These chains are incredibly solid and long lasting. The chance of this chain "breaking" or needing service is few and far between.
