Toyota Highlander: My driver side window is off track, the

Resolved Question:

My driver side window is off track, the motor is working but the windows rolls up unevenly. I have to push the window back and hold it in place in order for the window to close all the way. Is there replacement parts to fix the window or does the whole glass need to be replaced. I have a 2008 toyota highlander.

In this window regulator is a scissor type and gear type
mechanical regulator. If the window is going up crooked usually this means
either the tab broke off the window where it attaches to the regulator arm
which is the most common problem, or the actual regulator itself is bent or
misaligned. There's no way to know for sure until you remove the door panel and
disassemble the door components. You either need the window glass which comes
with the attaching tabs or you will need the window regulator itself. The only
other thing that I have seen happen is if the bolts come loose and fallout it
will cause the glass to go up crooked also. If this is the case all you need to
do is locate the bolt in the bottom of the door and reinstall it into the glass.
