LexusPro : Hello and Welcome to JustAnswer. I am reviewing your question and will be back with you in just a second.
LexusPro : To re-initalize the windows press the down button for 2 seconds then hold the up button all the way to the top and hold for two seconds at the top of its travel. That procedure will have to be done by the switch on each door.

with key on did that. the drivers door glass goes to the top then back halfway down

LexusPro : If it goes halfway back down the pinch protection is working. Has the glass, wondow motor or regulator been replaced?

we replace the door and transfered all the parts to the new door..we thought it was a reset problem

LexusPro : To reset the pinch protection remove the window regulator and motor assembly. Remove the window motor from the regulator. Reconnect the motor to the car and press the auto down switch, when the motor stops use the up button to turn the motor 12 revolutions. Then hold the regulator in the middle position an reinstall the motor. Reinstall the regulator/motor assembly. Do not roll the window down. Then roll the window up and hold it for 2 seconds. The procedure must be fllowed exactly or you will have to start over.
