2010 Toyota Prius: Sweden side signal, or turn signal lights..hybrid

This answer was rated:

Hi! I have a 2010 Toyota Prius which I have imported from the US to Sweden. In Sweden side signal, or turn signal lights are a requirement, but my Prius does not have them.

You can see what I need on (the turn signal under the hybrid sign):

My question is, can i just take "hook on" a new turn signal with wires to the current wires to the left and right turn signal or will adding a 3rd light to the existing system overload switches and fuses etc.

Genchi Genbutsu :

You can add the lights with no problem.

Just to clarify, as I am not sure I have time to get the new rear view mirrors which he has, I can just add splice one of the existing wires and connect off that?

Yes, you can.
