Customer Question
Hi there, today i replaced...
Hi there, today i replaced a clutch on a Toyota Hilux 4,0l from 2005. Singlecabin 2wd. After that the engine lamp was shining. the code was P0327 and P0333 Knocking sensor to high the other side to low. I don´t know where the sensor are and also i don´t know why it is shining. If i clear the code its coming back. To be honest i had some welding work with a Mig and forget to take of the battery pole. Is the fault coming from the sensor or it is coming from something different?

Thank you for trusting Just Answer with your Toyota question. The knock sensors are in the 'V' in the middle of the engine below the intake manifold. They are extremely difficult to access on this engine. The service manual calls for removal of one of the cylinder heads. However, it sounds as if you have probably pinched the wiring harness where it goes out the back of the engine near the bell housing. The codes mean, high=open circuit and low=short circuit. Look towards the back of the engine for a pinched harness.
