Hello I have a couple of accounts that are used to charge medical expenses to We use our HSA to make monthly payments on those accounts I'm wondering if we should be deducting those amounts paid with HSA?

Unfortunately, you cannot deduct medical expenses paid with an HSA. Since the money goes into the HSA tax free, it would be considered a double deduction.

The tax software I'm using is deduction monies distributed from my HSA, after I add all paid medical expenses for the tax year. So, simple numbers here: I have 8900 in medical expenses, HSA dispersal is 900. All of that 900 went towards paying monthly payments on previous medical expenses. So, I just want to be sure I shouldn't be adding that back in.

Yes, do not add that amount back in.
