Customer Question
My son has had...

My son has had major health issues and has had major surgeries the past few years. This year he was able to work for several months but it became increasingly difficult. He ended up having several major surgeries. He had no income. I had to pay all his expenses including major medical and living expenses. Does he qualify as a dependent, can I claim him on my income taxes?

We are in the process of filing for Social Security Disability. I’m currently on long term disability thru my employer.
My guess his income was about was about $3000 from Jan-March.

If he only made $3,000 and you provided more than 1/2 of his support then yes, you would be able to claim your son as a dependent.

Do not make any more transactions to my card. My understanding the cost was $5 but the transaction was for $41. Please correct this mistake.

I am sorry but I do not have any control over the charges. I would suggest contacting customer service. They are very good at resolving these issues.
