My business has a physical presence in Philadelphia, PA

Customer Question

Hi, my business has a physical presence in Philadelphia, PA which has a sales tax of 2%. My e commerce system is charging all residents of PA that 2% sales tax, even if they do not reside in Philadelphia county. Customers residing outside of PA do not get charged any tax. Is this correct of my e-commerce system?

No. That would be ;like charging me a sales tax from the state next to where I live. Relate certain Plilly zip codes to that special "city tax" . I'll also offer you a call. Don't bill me sales tax of 2% if I live in Stroudsburg, PA.
