I have two teenage daughters, they have both worked seasonal

I have two teenage daughters, they have both worked seasonal part time jobs as full time students. they were exempt. 2014, and should be for 2015. however...(still full time students), they held both seasonal part time and jobs not considered seasonal. how should they file?
daughter 1 earnings $ 2610 (non seasonal). taxes paid federal were $215. daughter 2 earnings$1073 (non seasonal) taxes paid federal were $2.25.
please advise,

They should file but NOT check the box on 6(a) in the exemptions section where it says "Yourself. If someone can claim you as a dependent, do not check box 6a ..."

This preserves the dependency exemptions for yourself, but will allow them to get a refund for any taxes paid as they are both under the standard deduction amount for a single filer.
