Customer Question

Hi. I'm in the process of issuing 1099's.
#1 I earn income as "company A" an AZ registered LLC BUT I live in ID (company not registered in ID)
#2 I hired contractors and sub-contractors
-- Contractors did work for "company B" an ID registered LLC
-- Sub-contractors did work for "company A"
-- My daughter and my assistant did work for both company A & B
Can I issue all 1099's from company A?

No. You must issue the 1099s from the Company under what ID# ***** to each company making the payments.

Do Company "A" and Company "B" report their income taxes as Sole Proprietors? Are they owned by the same member? or members if partnerships? If neither, how do they each report their operations, ie. which type of entity?
