Would you be so kind letting me know my obligations and options against the U.S. in my new position?I worked in the U.S.A. since January 1999 till July 2014 while living in Denver, CO.I started with the H1B visa and since 2004 as a green card holder.In mid of 2006 I started working remotely for my U.S. employer from my home country - the Slovak Republic - but we paid U.S. taxes until 2014.(including). (We succeeded to sell our house in Denver in late 2014).Since that time we have no income and our saving account kept in U.S. bank is under $1,000.00 of interest. Due to lost job I asked from Slovakia for the U.S. SSA benefits when I was 63 and starting February 2015 I and my wife get paid it on regular basis. Benefits are coming into U.S. account and our permanent and mailing address for SSA benefits is in Slovakia.I own 401k assets in Prudential and Fidelity without any distribution by now.Our green cards were valid till 01/13/2015 and last time I entered U.S. was in September, 2013.
