Hello bill,

Are you asking how you go about setting up a payment plan with the IRS to pay off a tax bill you owe?

If so, approximately how much is the tax bill that you need to pay off?

Hello again bill,

If your tax bill with the IRS is less than $25,000, then you may simply complete an on line application with the IRS for a payment plan to pay off what you owe.

The IRS would add interest to your tax bill for each month that there was still an unpaid balance, but if the amount your owe is less than $500, then any interest or penalties shoule be nominal.

I am giving you a link below to a section of the IRS website that explains the payment plans, and there is also a link on that page to the on line application which you can complete.
