Customer Question

Why could my state tax return be under review if I received my federal refund without any problems?

While the state return is based on the Federal in part, they often require you to modify the results by adding back in certain expenses and deductions. In doing this there could have been math errors, or something as simple as spelling and SS mismatches in their records.

If you want to find out what is the problem, you need to call them and ask them to trace your return.
