May I ask whom I am chatting with today?
Hi Mona, it's nice to meet you.
Is the car running normally?
Ok
It's normal for the cruise light to be flashing when the check engine light is on
Basically, the check engine light means there is a problem with one of
the monitored systems in the car. There are over 500 reasons for the
light to come on. Because of this, it has to be scanned for codes. Many
parts stores will do this for free for you. Since the engine is
performing normally, it is likely this is an emissions code. Sometimes a
loose gas cap can cause this, so if your model has a cap, check and make
sure it's tight. If it is loose, tighten it up, the light will remain on
for a while, but eventually will turn off on its own.
You're very welcome.
