My fob no longer locks or unlocks my vehicle. Locking the doors with the drivers door lock button also does not lock the doors. They have to be manually locked to secure

Customer: I just had my entire key entry/lock mechanism replaced in January. It shouldn’t be worn out. The spare also doesn’t work. I ordered batteries just to make sure that wasn’t it

Customer: I would like to fix by myself. I haven’t tried anything other than the battery replacement because I don’t know what it causing it

Hi,I just need to clarify what is happening,the keyfob does not lock or unlock the car if you use the key it will manually that is the only way to lock or unlock the vehicle and the power door lock is not operating as well let me know if this is correct.If this is does the locater button on your fob work? This is the red button that honks the horn,if this operates we can rule out the fob being the problem and focus more on the power door lock switch and latch as the possible problem,thanks.
