Gas tank replacement in Subaru Impreza 2010. How expensive

Customer Question

gas tank replacement in Subaru Impreza 2010. How expensive is that?
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: A mouse made a hole in it, and now it is indeed a gas hog!
JA: Are you fixing your Impreza yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: My mechanic advised only filling it half-way, but that is not satisfactory
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: What is the cost of a replacement?
JA: You just pay a $5 deposit now and the rest only when you get a reply from the Subaru Mechanic. All of this is 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so you can get a refund if you're not happy for any reason.
Customer: ok, how do I do that?

Let me just say that any money that you paid, or if you have a subscription, that money stays in your account until the answers are rated, (positive) regardless of how fast or how long it may take to get finished. You can FOLLOW UP AT ANYTIME, even after rating.

The factory price on a fuel tank is $469, (just for the part). However, there are some after market suppliers that have them for less.

The labor is 3.5 hours, (about $350 at a dealership) without draining and filling.

Did you get that?

You can probably find one on the internet, (with the part number). Thanks
