i need to install a engine block heater in my 2002 Subaru outback with the 6 cylinder. location of installation and procedure please
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?
Customer: no leaks
JA: Are you fixing your Outback yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: it is not broken need to install new heater or did they come with a block heater
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

  • It depends on the style and brand heater. There are some that go into the block in place of a freeze plug and some that go into the lower radiator hose. Which are you installing?
